Early Childhood Programs

2021 Remote Spring Session – Registration Now Open!

Brotherhood Synagogue’s Early Childhood Program (ECP) provides a warm, nurturing environment for our community’s youngest children to grow and flourish in an atmosphere rich in Jewish values and traditions. Cognitive skills, social-emotional, and physical development are encouraged through music, movement, theater, storytelling, play, and visual arts with a special focus on Shabbat, Israel, and Jewish holidays.

Registration is now open for our Spring Session which will be a remote learning experience during the months of April and May.

Our wonderful teachers, who are all working professional artists and have years of experience in early childhood education, have created a dynamic, engaging program mindful of the challenges of remote learning, fostering a love of learning, connection, and Jewish life.  Our successful semesters of remote learning have shown that we can explore creative ways to learn and grow from home, build community, and build capacity in both children and adults alike.

Since our in-person classes for children 18 months - 3 years old require accompaniment by a parent or caregiver, we ask the same of you in the online learning environment.  Your presence or your caregiver’s presence will help to focus your child/ren on the activity at hand whether music, movement or art.

Our classes for 3-5 year olds work well without adult supervision but parents and caregivers are welcome to join in the fun!

Please note: Class size is limited and applicants are enrolled on a first come, first served basis. Should a class be marked as filled and you wish to be on a waitlist, please contact us right away. There are no makeups or refunds for missed classes.
