Synagogue should feel like an extended family: a place where you feel at home, among equals and never judged. At The Brotherhood Synagogue, we foster a warm and welcoming environment where you can worship in a way that is meaningful to you. Join us weekly on Shabbat or on the High Holy Days at any level of participation that makes you comfortable.

Important Information for Non-Members
We offer Community Services on the High Holy Days that are open to all without charge (subject to seating limitations): On the first evening of Rosh Hashanah at 6:00 pm all are
invited to our Sanctuary for services. For the morning services, non-members can go to our lower level classrooms (on the first day) or to the Community Room (on the second day)
to see and hear the service on closed-circuit monitor but with a live Torah reading and shofar blowing. All are invited to the Childrens’ Services both days at 1:30 pm with
separate services for children up to age 8 and those from 8-13.
On the evening of Yom Kippur, we open our Sanctuary to non-members for Kol Nidre services at 8:45 pm (a line forms in advance outdoors) and overflow seating is available in our
Community Room and classrooms where the service can be viewed on closed-circuit monitors. For the morning services, non-members can go to our lower level classrooms to see and
hear the service on closed-circuit monitors. All are invited to Childrens’ Services at 2:15 pm, to the Community Yizkor at 3:30 pm, and the Discussion at 4:30 pm. Non-members

Minyan
Every Tuesday at 5:40 PM, a 15-minute afternoon (mincha) service is held at the Synagogue. Men and women are encouraged to attend to help make a minyan of 10 adults which will allow those in mourning to recite the mourners’ kaddish. Whatever your Hebrew or prayer background, we can use your support at Tuesday minyan.
Rosh Chodesh
We offer a monthly service on Rosh Chodesh, the first day of the Jewish month at 7:30 AM. Breakfast follows.
