The Brotherhood Synagogue has several committees with varying responsibilities and levels of participation. They are always happy to welcome new members. Among them are: Social Action, Development, Special Events, Synaplex, Membership, Budget, Interfaith, Israel Action, Religious School, Adult Education and Investment. Bikur Cholim / Friendly Visiting Program
Giving comfort and lifting the spirit of those who are sick, disabled, or who may feel forgotten is what the mitzvah of Bikur Cholim is all about. Please contact Deborah Newman of the Social Action Committee or call the synagogue office if you would like to volunteer. You may also contact Rabbi Alder if you or someone you know may benefit from this program. All referrals are confidential, participation is voluntary, and help and caring in any form are offered only as desired.

Ushering at Shabbat Services
Greet people and help them find a siddur or a kippah.

Religious School Play
The play is a big event each year. Volunteers help out with all aspects of play production.

Aide in the Religious School
Volunteer to work as an ozer (aide) in one of the Religious School classes. Learn teaching skills and have an invaluable experience. Volunteers must commit to the entire school year. Sign up with Barbara Simon
