The first few years of a child’s education are critical; they form the foundation for a lifetime of learning. The Brotherhood Synagogue Nursery School offers a nursery school program intended to nurture and guide young children as they grow cognitively, socially, and emotionally. We are dedicated to respecting the uniqueness of each child and to fostering a school community that values basic trust and open communication. Jewish traditions, values, and experiences are central to the program. Children experience the joy of Shabbat and Jewish holidays through singing, dancing, storytelling, cooking, and artwork. Jewish content and values are woven into the daily school curriculum.
We accept children 2 years 4 months old to 5 years old.
Tours of the nursery school will be scheduled in September 2010. Please call 212-995-9867 in September or early October to make an appointment to tour the facilities and hear about our program and educational philosophy. Applications for admissions and brochures are given out on the tour. Children need to be 2 years 4 months old by the September of the year they will be starting school. |
