Toddler Program - Winter/Spring 2012
For Children Age 18 Months - 3 Years Old

Toddler Program activities will include free play, music for kids and songs about Jewish life; movement, art projects, and a small snack. There will also be focus on Jewish holidays, some Hebrew words, and an emphasis on Jewish family values so we encourage parents, whenever possible, to participate in the program along with their child.
Four separate sessions will be held for children 18 months up to 3 years old:
Session 1……….Tuesday………9:30 -10:30 AM Class currently filled
Session 2……….Tuesday………10:45 -11:45 AM Class currently filled
Session 3……….Thursday………9:30 -10:30 AM Class currently filled
Session 4……….Thursday………10:45 -11:45 AM Class currently filled
Each 18-week session is $360 for members, $450 for non-members.
DATES
Tuesday programs begin Tuesday, January 24 and end on Tuesday, June 12.
Thursday programs begin Thursday, January 26 and end on Thursday, June 14.
There will be no classes on:
Tuesday, February 21, April 3, April 10
Thursday, February 23, April 5, April 12
Please note: The Toddler Program does not allow for make- up classes.
Please return your Registration Form (download the form here) and payment to the Synagogue office as soon as possible to ensure your place in one of our classes. Class size will be strictly limited and applicants will be enrolled on a first come, first served basis.

Wednesdays, 11:00 - 11:45 am
Set in a quiet, carpeted, sunny open space on the 4th floor of the synagogue, Daphna Mor leads this class which encourages the young child’s new tendencies toward independent interests and social engagement. Activities include free play, music and singing Jewish and universal favorite songs; movement, basic art projects, and a small snack.
Each 18-week session is $360 for members, $450 for non-members.
DATES
Class runs from Wednesday, January 25 through Wednesday, June 13.
There will be no classes on:
Wednesday, February 22, April 4, April 11

Set in a quiet, carpeted, sunny space on the 4th floor of the synagogue, Daphna Mor leads our baby class in this relaxed atmosphere. Activities include music (Jewish & universal favorite songs) and movement, as well as stimulating activities which make use of fun props.
Each 18-week session is $360 for members, $450 for non-members.

Shabbat Corner
A Shabbat experience for children ages 3-5 and their parents!
Saturdays, 9:30 - 10:30 am
Brotherhood Synagogue’s popular Shabbat Corner program meets on Saturday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am in the “Yellow Room” on our lower level.
Shabbat Corner is led by Basya Schecter – a talented, energetic, and innovative performer who has led the group at Brotherhood for many years.
Through song, dance, storytelling and other projects, children are introduced to Jewish life and Shabbat. The experience is both fun and educational and each week concludes with a Kiddush snack.
Shabbat Corner continues through the first week of June 2012.
The group will not meet on the following dates:

Thursday Corner
Jewish Life, Culture, & Traditions Hour for 3-5 Year Olds!
Thursdays, 3:00 - 4:00 pm
This fun class for 3-5 year olds on Thursday afternoons from 3:00-4:00 pm will focus on Jewish life, traditions, and culture. Holidays and their related songs and traditions as well as Shabbat customs and songs will all be part of the class. This class is taught in English but Hebrew songs & letters will be a strong component along with storytelling, singing, Israeli dancing, and arts & crafts.
Thursday afternoons from 3:00-4:00 pm with our very talented Hebrew Gan teacher, Maya Blank.
